20. Thomas MENDHAM ⁽¹⁸⁾ was born on 21 Apr 1812 in Herringswell Suffolk.⁽⁷⁴⁾ He was a Farm Labourer. ⁽¹⁸⁾ Living at The Cottage, The Street, Tuddenham St Mary with his youngest son Charles aged 17. He was married to Anne KNIGHT on 14 Aug 1842 in Leamington Priors Warwickshire. ⁽⁷⁵⁾

21. Anne KNIGHT was born on 6 Oct 1820 in Uppingham Rutland. ⁽⁷⁶⁾ Children were:

i. Samuel MENDHAM⁽¹⁸⁾ was born in 1843 in Leamington Priors Warwickshire.⁽⁷⁷⁾ He was a Farm Labourer.⁽¹⁸⁾ Living at Worlington Road. Barton Mills, with his family at time of 1881 Census.
ii. Mary Anne MENDHAM was born in 1845 in Tuddenham Suffolk. ⁽⁷⁸⁾
iii. Matilda MENDHAM was born in 1848 in Tuddenham Suffolk. ⁽⁷⁹⁾
iv. Thomas MENDHAM⁽¹⁸⁾ was born in 1850 in Tuddenham Suffolk.⁽⁸⁰⁾ He was a Groom. ⁽¹⁸⁾ Living with family at The Cottage, East Wretham, Norfolk. at time of 1881 Census
10 v. Edward MENDHAM.
vi. Alfred Knight MENDHAM was born in 1856 in Tuddenham Suffolk. ⁽⁸¹⁾ Was unable to find Alfred on the 1881 Census.
vii. Emily MENDHAM was born in 1858 in Tuddenham Suffolk. ⁽⁸²⁾
viii. Arthur MENDHAM was born in 1860 in Tuddenham Suffolk. ⁽⁸³⁾ Was unable to find Arthur on the 1881 Census.
ix. Charles MENDHAM was born in 1863 in Tuddenham Suffolk. ⁽⁸⁴⁾ Living with his Father Thomas at The Cottage, The Street, Tuddenham St Mary at the time of the 1881 Census.
