10. William WOOD was born on 21 Oct 1827 in Petham Kent. He appeared on the census in 1881 in Chillenden Kent.(19) The 1881 gives them living at The Cottage Chillenden, both aged 53, with Thomas V a seedsman carter age 26, Susan age 14 and Minnie age 12. William gives his occupation as an agricultural labourer, not the usual gardener. He appeared on the census in 1901 in Northbourne, Kent.(8) By this time William was aged 73 and was living in Northbourne, presumably with a married son or daughter. There is no record for Mary Anne on the Census, so it is presumed that she is dead by 1901. He died Unknown. He was married to Mary Ann MAKEY on 25 Mar 1854 in Staple Kent.
11. Mary Ann MAKEY
was born on 9 Mar 1828 in Nonnington Kent. She died Unknown. Children
were:

WOOD was born in 1855.(19) He was
a Seedsman Carter.(19) The 1881 Census
shows Thomas living with his parents at Chillenden, at The Cottage in company
with his sisters Susan Elizabeth and Minnie.
ii. Mary
WOOD was born in 1857.

Eliza Ann WOOD was born in 1859 in Stelling Kent.

H WOOD was born in 1861 in Petham Kent.(20)
He was an Indoor farm servant.(19)
The 1881 Census shows William living at Old Court Farm, Nonnington living in
with his employer George Martin, the farm bailiff.
v. Rose
H WOOD was born in 1864 in Nonnington Kent.

By 1881 Roasa had left home and was living at Rowling - Goodnestone in Eastry
where she was employed as housemaid to the family of Mr Thomas Palmer a farmer
of 250 acres.
