THIRTEENTH GENERATION


5664. Thomas DYLNOTT was born about 1505 in Sellinge Kent.(542) He died in 1557 in Sellinge Kent.(543) He signed a will on 8 Mar 1557 in Sellinge Kent. (544) In the Name of God Amen. The viii daye of Marche in the first yere of the reigne of our Soverayne ladye & Queene Elizabeth the first by the grace of God Queene of Englande, Fraunce and Irelande. I Thomas Dillnett of the parrishe of Sellinge in the countie of Kent beinge sicke in bodie & good and perfect of remembraunce make this my will and testament in maner and forme followinge that is to say firste I bequethe my soule to God Allmightie my Maker and Redimer who hathe bowght me with his precious bloude and by Him I trust to be saved and my bodie to be buryed in the church yarde of Sellinge. First I will and bequthe all my household stuffe to be devided amongest my children equally devided alike and to be prysed by honest men and so delivered. And I make my executor my sonne William Dilnett and I make my overseer Richard Powle and I will hym for his labour iiis iiiid or ells ii bushells of apples for iiii yeres everye yere ii bushells. This is the last will of me Thomas Dillnett made and delivered the day and yere above written. First I will and bequethe my tenement and lande lieing and being in the parrishe of Selling wch tenement and lande I will and bequethe unto my sonne William Dillnett to hym in fee simple forever. Also I will that William my sonne shall pay unto his brother Oliver Dilnett my sonne xx£ of goode and lawfull monie of England to be paid as thus. I will that Oliver Dillnett shall have at thage of xxii yeres £v then at thage of xxiii £v then at thage xxiiii £v then at thage xv £v so that is the whole somme £xx. Also I will that yf my sonne Oliver Dillnett do dye before thage as afore rehersed, then I will that my sonne William Dillnett shall have the £xx to hym for ever. In witness to this my last will and testament Robert Cawewill, Andrew White, Xpistopher Short the writer.
( The will was probated on the 17th March but the final year was not entered, it is presumed to have been 1557)

5665. Elizabeth UNKNOWN died after 1562. It is not known exactly when Elizabeth died, but it is known that in 1562 she was charged with fornication with one John Taylor, the outcome of this charge is similarly unknown. However this implies that she may have been considerably younger than her husband Thomas, who would have been 57 at that time. She was born unknown. Children were:
